How is a cancer diagnosis made or confirmed? Professor Benoît Terris, a pathologist at the Cochin Hospital in Paris (AP-HP), describes the process of treating a sample in the context of a cancer diagnosis. This sample is analyzed for genetic alterations. The patient will be able to benefit from targeted therapy, if it exists.
